The winners of the 2012 Broomfield Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition will perform with the orchestra on
Thursday, May 17th, 2012 at 7.30pm at the Broomfield Auditorium
Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 3.00pm at the Broomfield Auditorium
The Orchestra would like to thank everyone who auditioned. The competition was extremly high and we heard 18 talented musicians audition. The winners were:
Forest-Amber Borealis, violin, Middle School Winner
Natalie Hodges, violin, High School Winner
About The Broomfield Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition
The Broomfield Symphony Orchestra has conducted an annual concerto competition since 2010. The competition is open to all middle and high school students. The grand prize in an opportunity to perform one movement of a concerto with the Orchestra, in addition to cash prize for each winner, provided by our sponsor Skye Associates LLC.
2013 Youth Concerto Competition: The application process will commence in the fall of 2012.
